This high end private villa provides luxury accommodation of a level equivalent to a first class boutique resort with many of the worlds market leaders of the genre being close by neighbors in Ubud. The 5 master suite estate is rented to only one party at a time for unshared usage of all facilities and is available in some months to groups as small as four people. Tropical Spa, Spiritual Retreat and Yoga programs are available on site.
Villa Bali Gita's main five buildings are located around and above the central swimming pool. The size of the property allowed them to be generously offset which in turn facilitates colorful tropical garden settings along with a spacious tree shaded sandstone deck. The picture at left looks east from the billiard room and captures the three accommodation buildings which also house living and private dining areas. Out of view and to the right is the two storey movie theater and Gamelan Bale while the villa's largest building from which the picture was taken is also not visible. A view from the opposite direction taken from the pools center is shown below right. The pool's tiling changes color depending on the light conditions at different times of day and varies from turquoise to deep blue.
Each of the multi level buildings is unobtrusively integrated with the land contours, avoiding any impression of intrusive bulkiness. Surrounding the pool, the villa complex buildings are aligned and positioned functionally in accord with the cosmology of Bali.
Being set in the rural area of Ubud, Villa Bali Gita's infrastructure is of great importance to successful operation. Amenities expected by today's traveler are not typically found in the villages of Ubud and even those available in Bali's population centers often lack reliability and robustness. To support the level of luxury at the villa considerable attention has been given to adequate electric power supply, automatic industrial level power back up, pure hygienic deep well water, pressurized water supply and eco friendly waste disposal.
High speed Internet access is of course provided throughout the villa with connection jacks in all bedrooms and living areas. In order to bypass points of regular failure and congestion, dedicated 2-way satellite communication connects Bali Gita directly to the Internet backbone as a self-contained point of presence. Mail servers on site are directly addressable worldwide and do not use any intermediary ISP or mail service provider. WiFi is deployed at multiple points around the living areas and gardens.
Staff at the villa are employed almost totally from the surrounding Ubud area villages and have been trained on site. They regularly receive top marks from our most demanding clients for their proficiency and unspoiled manners. Key employees from elsewhere were carefully chosen for professional skills and ability to pass on their knowledge. This has resulted in a team of 25 proficient people who unassumingly keep the villa operating efficiently around the clock. The day and night managers keep things moving smoothly and ensure all of the villa's resources are focused completely to the guests' comfort.
