Meticulously planned and professionally operated, the Villa Bali Gita private estate covers over 2.5 acres of tropical gardens and classic Balinese landscape to provide an exclusively private and uncompromised luxury experience for your wedding or special celebration.
The estate, although distinctly luxurious, is designed in the romantic traditional Bali style. Coupled with a secluded panoramic location, this has established Bali Gita as a choice wedding venue. Several of the view positions, particularly the Panorama Bale, afford a mystical wedding setting, beautifully accented around sunset by a dramatic Ayung River backdrop.
A well-trained staff of 25 is skilled in setting up the facility for weddings and providing services throughout. Bali Gita is self sufficient in catering, entertainment and providing the stage for weddings with up to 140 guests. Most cuisine popular for a reception are available but it is also quite ok to use indpendent caterers if preferred. In that situation the Bali Gita staff support the external caterering people to whatever extent required and the villa's food preparation and service facilities are likewise fully available.
The local village provides a good deal of support for weddings held at the villa. Decorations can be prepared by the ladies in the same way as their own temple ceremonies. Alternatively one of Bali's many wedding decor specialists can be engaged to either do the whole thing or work in combination with the village. Both a 32-man gamelan orchestra and 4-person bamboo wind ensemble are manned by musicians from the immediate neighborhood and provide the musical background. Dancers and flower girls are also from the surrounding community.
Sometimes the wedding couple require only simple photography of the occasion but more often the photographic memories are vitally important. Bali Gita can arrange a wide array of photographic services beyond the merely basic. The artistic character of Bali has attracted world caliber professional photographers to make their home on the island and they will do weddings. Prices vary depending on the experience and reputation of the photographer. To this end we maintain contact with a variety of professionals able to deliver photo packages at a variety of price points.
Overseas Wedding ceremonies held in Bali are complex to process and require professional attention. Your big day is just too important to leave anything to chance, particularly when internationally recognized legal registration is required. Bali Gita prefers to work with and strongly recommends the services of experienced, professional Bali Wedding organizers. While we frequently work with our own lawyer's office for the registration and documentation, there are several highly experienced and very professional independent consultants who can be highly recommended.
If required, any of these consultants can arrange error free legal formalities. Like the villa's own specialist, they are expert in advising on all aspects and options in this regard. For the ceremony they also have access to a wide variety of Bali's wedding celebrants, a detailed understanding of the characteristics of each and the experience to advise on the right fit for your occasion. Likewise with makeup, corsage, gown and photography. Bali Gita is happy to work with either your own choice of planner or assume the role ourself - or any combination.
For very large occasions we recommend holding the wedding ceremony and reception at the nearby Royal Palace, Puri Banyuning. The nucleus of the party can still reside at Bali Gita and hold smaller group meals and receptions in the days leading up to and or subsequent to the wedding.
